So, O intelligent reader, do not attach yourself to things of the dunya except that which helps in bringing you closer to Allah | The love, as we mentioned, is also appreciated and encouraged in Islam, for certain situations |

So if this love for desires was not deeply rooted into his heart or His fitrah, there would never be any benefit in testing his deen through it | That is the enjoyment of worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return |
This is the reality of the worldly life.
You made me subservient to the son of Adam | Therefore, make me among the dearest of his wealth and household to him, or, …make me the dearest of his household and wealth to him |

Rather, one should use them in ways of seeking nearness to Allah | None know the duration of their stay on this earth |
It is a place of toil, hardships, trials, envious people and what have you.
